Cultural Day Laziness

Today is a national Holiday: Cultural day. So no classes. I went anyway for dance practice. Surprisingly, there were a lot of students on campus setting up for the International Festival this Friday . Festival booth tents were popping up everywhere. All the clubs and groups were setting up, I guess because everyone has classes tomorrow and wouldn't have the time then.

I met up with Yumika and the rest of our group for a "dress rehearsal."

Our uniform, basically, minus the jacket...

The Japanese students are just using their high school uniforms. We all got bow ties to match so we all look like we belong together....

All the different grops practiced today. There are two other groups, a traditional, and another modern group that has all Japanese students. This picture is of the traditional "fisherman's dance."

Most of our group. I think we were missing Chihiro, Maiko, and Brittany...

After practice, Alex visited Seminar house and we had a movie night. We watched How to Train Your Dragon and the Fifth Element. Mei made dumplings!

*sigh* classes tomorrow... I don't want to do homework, but I must...
