Sukinomotsuri Festival

So after class I met Becky at Hirakata-shi and we window shopped.

Becky and D.J.J (Dusty Junior Junior-J.J for short...)

Green tea flavored cookies...

Don't you want a "melty kiss?"

This is my friend, Tetsu and Stephen, a Canadian student. They helped us find where the festival was going to be tonight.

Then we took a train all the way to the end of the line where the Sukinomotsuri Festival was going to be. The adorable kitty is mine. I bought him today. He is now Dusty Junior, DJ.

We stopped at the Fushimi Inari shrine so Becky could buy a little stuffed fox that she resisted buying when we were last there.

The Fushimi Inari station.

Becky's new fox, Inari.

We took a break in a small park near the shrine.

Walking to the shrine.

A sacred tree.

Gift shop...sorta.

Accepting donations...

There was a lot of music and several dances.

We left a bit early so that we could make sure Becky got back to JHoppers.

Shanikia, Elyse, and Becky.

We got off at Hirakata and Becky went on to Osaka.

A Japanese Burger place...

The three of us went to Takabashi for dinner.

I just got rice.

And now I'm back at Seminar House III, typing on this blog. Since Becky and Alex want to meet at 9:00 at Shinfukushima, I'm going to have to get up at 7 tomorrow morning... G'night everyone!
