So, Becky, my friend flew in today from Memphis! She's staying a week! Lucky for us, this week there is no class Monday, because of Respect for the Aged Day, and no class on Thursday, because of Autumnal Equinox Day. So we plan on having a lot of fun and seeing Japan.
But first, I had to find her...
So she flew into Kansai airport and was going to meet me at Fukashima station. Problem was I didn't know where that was... So I asked one of the people in the CIE and she was really nice. She printed out directions and a map for me!
Alex said she had nothing better to do, so she tagged along to help me. Her Japanese is way better than mine.
So we had to take the train from Gotenyama to Kyobashi. Then we had to switch train lines in Kyobashi from Keihan to Tozai. We then took a Ladies Only train car to Shinfukushima. From there we had the map that told us where we had to go on foot to Fukushima station. Unfortunately for us, Google sent us to the wrong Fukushima station...
Notice how "North" is not north... After we figured that out, it answered a few questions...
So we found ourselves between two places named Fukushima station. But we soon figured out that neither were right...
We knew it couldn't be right because the places were practically deserted...
Finally, thanks to the modern invention called the cell phone, we found Becky!
And then we found J Hoppers, the hostel in Osaka where Becky is staying.
So she got all signed in and set. Tomorrow we're gonna get together. Should be fun!
Why can't I throw rubbish?...
Anyways, I'm tired and need to go to sleep. That's all for my update tonight!
